Entrance Exam

Vocational Nurse Training Program requires students to have a high school diploma or equivalent to be admitted into the program. In addition, students must pass the pre-admission entrance exam. Students must be able to answer 75 questions correctly out of 100 questions.

The entrance exam will be based on adult's basic education. Grade 11 level or above education is a good indicator for students to have a good chance to be successful in the VN Program.

As an option, students prior to taking the entrance exam may have the opportunity to study and prepare for the entrance exam. A mini course has been developed using the AI customized to prepare you for the nursing program entrance exam. It covers scenarios related to searching for a nursing program, learning the whole process of becoming a nurse, learning the state requirements and learning about being an actual nursing student. This has been designed to help students to realize the rigor of the program prior to the important decision of enrolling into the nursing program. All scenarios and questions will be based on adults' basic education in the following topics:

• English 
• Reading Comprehension 
• Math 
• Basic Science 
• Basic Anatomy & Physiology
